Being on Submission--Yikes!

So, it's been a while since I've put myself back out there. Thanks to my Phoenix series, and my contract with Entangled Publishing, most of 2011 was "in the bag" so to say. But, it's time to get back out there.

Delilah Devlin had a new call for submission on her Smokin' Hot Fireman Anthology and I decided to try my luck. If you're quick with the short stories, there is still time to get a submission in. I think it ends 6/15/12.

Tuesday night I came home, and warned the children and hubs that I had a story to write. Two hours later, I sent my little 2300 word piece to two betas, revised, formatted and hit send. Whew.

The funny part was returning to the living---I mean living room and acknowledging to my family that I realized that with the day job and the writing, I'd just completely worked for 18 hours straight with barely a, "Hello, honey, I love you guys."

It's a good thing they love me so much, huh? :P

Now, we wait. Nerves will frazzle. People will be barked at. All will be disjointed until September. But...that's the way I like it. Pile on the stress, baby! I hope you all have a good day!!! ")
