Okay, so some of you know that in March the docs found a large nodule on my thyroid. At first it was just this scary tumor thing that was tickling my throat.
Well it has tripled in size over the course of the year and I battle a severe case of exhaustion each day--oh and don't let me even get started on the elephant hoofs that used to be my feet.
After several months of being on a waiting list for one of the only two Endocrinologists in our city, I'm finally going today! I'm excited to hopefully finally talk to someone that can help me, but I'm also scared.
But it's this or continue to fall asleep in the oddest places: car, desk, tub, dining room table....everywhere but in bed. *snorts* and not because I'm having too much fun there.
So, that's what is on the Firasek agenda today. What about you guys?
Good luck with the doc, Rachel. I'm crossing my fingers that everything will go smoothly and sending good vibes your way.
ReplyDeleteI had a blast with you in the Coffee Time Romance chat last night. I miss our chats! We need to get together soon!
Hey, Rach. Praying all goes well at the doctor's today and you can find a good result for the issues you are having. Sorry you are going through this, but sending well-wishes your way. Love ya. Dottie
ReplyDeletePraying that they figure this out for you! I know it's been hard on you. We love and miss ya. Jen
ReplyDeleteSending some positive energy your way, Rachel. My thoughts are definitely with you, too. You've got a whole lot of support coming at you from your family, friends, and fans:)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, girlie, I had no idea this stuff was going on. Battling things like this is always scary, but I know you are strong enough to face it and get on through.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Rachel!!!
ReplyDeleteI know just having someone being able to "diagnose" something can really be a relief. At least then you have a direction...
Hang in there!!! I hope it's nothing some thyroid pills can't fix up! :)
Feel better!!!
*HUGS*
Lisa
Best of luck with your Dr.'s visit. I'll keep you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteRachel,
ReplyDeleteHashimoto's Disease? I'm sure he'll talk to you about that. The really good news? Even if it's what you're scared about, this is easy to correct.
Sending prayers and healing thoughts, Keta
